The Zard decat for the BMW R 1300 GS, available in titanium or stainless steel (shown here), is compatible with standard exhausts or can be combined with the Zard Slip-on, making it the ideal choice to enhance the motorcycle's performance.

Handcrafted in Italy with high-quality raw materials, it is extremely lightweight (-4.75 kg for the titanium version and -3.7 kg for the stainless steel version compared to the standard catalyst) and is essential for improving engine performance (+3 hp in combination with a standard exhaust, +6.4 hp in combination with a Zard exhaust, compared to the standard muffler). The combination of the decat and the slip-on creates a unique Zard-type sound.

Thanks to the combined development of the complete exhaust system, decat + slip-on, the performance increases even further: +5.7 hp for the homologated version and +6.4 hp for the racing version compared to the standard combination.

Note: the decat includes the HEALTECH® ESE-BM1 exhaust valve eliminator, which eliminates the error signal in the ECU on the standard Euro5 version.

Warning: Following the installation of the Zard decatalyzed collector, the motorcycle's electronics in E5+ configuration detects an anomaly in the catalytic converter due to anti-pollution regulations, which triggers the cat warning light (information), without affecting the motorcycle's performance. Zard is working on developing a tool that facilitates diagnosis and prevents the activation of the anomaly.
